Lubric8 Universal Antifreeze is a high quality, universal coolant suitable for various vehicles, cooling systems and can even mix with all existing antifreeze. The Ready to use mixture can be poured straight into an empty, or part filled system.
Lubric8 Universal Antifreeze is a Monoethylene Glycol based ready-to-use engine coolant which uses Organic Acid Inhibitor Technology and is free from nitrites, amines, phosphates, borates and silicates.
The additive package has been specifically formulated to provide excellent continued corrosion protection for all types of engines under the most demanding conditions.

Applications of Lubric8 Universal Antifreeze:
Lubric8 Universal Antifreeze provides excellent corrosion protection to all the components found in modern engines. Fleet trials have shown that when used at the correct concentration coolants based on Organic Acid Inhibitor Technology continue to provide effective corrosion protection for up to 250,000 km for passenger cars and 500,000km in commercial vehicles. It is recommended that the coolant is replaced when the above mileages have been reached or after 5 years, whichever is the sooner.
Compatibility of Lubric8 Universal Antifreezewith other coolants:
Unlike traditional coolants which employ inorganic inhibitors, Lubric8 Universal Antifreeze has excellent hard water stability and very low inhibitor depletion rates. It has been extensively tested and shown to be compatible with other monoethylene glycol based coolants and can be safely mixed with them.
If Lubric8 Universal Antifreeze is used in combination with traditional coolant technology it should be assumed that the service life will be that of the traditional coolant.

Corrosion Protection from Lubric8 Universal Antifreeze:
Protection from corrosion is the most important function of a coolant concentrate and is achieved by the inclusion of a well-balanced inhibitor package. In modern engines with the greater use of aluminium alloys and thinner section castings, avoidance of corrosion problems is critical.
The tables in the attached image deatail the effective corrosion protection provided when tested against the industry standards such as ASTM D1384 (multi-metal corrosion in glassware) and ASTM D4340 (corrosion of cast aluminium alloys under heat-rejecting conditions).
ASTM International (American Society for Testing and Materials) tests use the very lowest minimum ratio of 33% solution to 67% water, the following results are based on the minimum protection scenario.
Lubric8 Universal Antifreeze is pre-mixed to a 50% so actual protection levels will be higher.
