Lubric8 Coat PX 3921
Rust preventive manufactured to Ministry of Defence specification DEF STAN 80-217/1 (PX-1)
Product Description:
Lubric8 Coat PX 3921 is a specification defined (MOD PX-1) general purpose rust preventive for medium term protection of ferrous and aluminium components. Lubric8 Coat PX 3921 is best applied by dipping but can be sprayed. Brushing of the fluid can also be used but extra care must be taken to ensure adequate coverage and that the surface is dirt free and any particulates or brush fibres are not inadvertently introduced which may remain in the film as they can significantly detract from anti-corrosion performance.
Applications:
Spray: Use all types of conventional techniques to achieve recommended coating thickness.
Dip Tank: Dip components at normal ambient temperatures.
Brush: Liberally apply to components and allow drying. Avoid the inclusion of bristles into coating.
Removal – Lubric8 Coat PX 3921 may be removed using hydrocarbon solvent or suitable alkaline cleaner.
